286 Offences about misrepresentation of identity (1) A person must not misrepresent the person's identity for the purpose of purchasing liquor. (2) A person commits an offence if the person: (a) intentionally purchases liquor; and (b) intentionally misrepresents the person's identity to the licensee or the licensee's employee at the time of purchase by: (i) making oral statements that are false; or (ii) presenting a form of written identification that is fictitious, false or relates to someone else. (3) A person commits an offence if: (a) the person intentionally presents a document to purchase liquor; and (b) the document could reasonably be taken to be a form of identification of the person and the person has knowledge of that circumstance; and (c) the document is fictitious or false in respect of the person's identity or relates to another person's identity and the person has knowledge of that circumstance. (4) A person commits an offence if: (a) the person intentionally provides a form of the person's identification to another person; and (b) the other person uses the identification to misrepresent the other person's identity to purchase liquor contrary to this Act; and

Liquor Act 2019 156 (c) the person is reckless in relation to the circumstance in paragraph (b). (5) Strict liability applies to subsection (4)(b).
