218 Offence to contravene banning notice (a) the person is a banned person; and (b) the person enters, attempts to enter or remains in a high risk area or licensed premises contrary to the banning notice. subsection (1) if the defendant has a reasonable excuse. Note for section 218 Section 215(3) exempts certain activities or purposes from a banning notice. A person does not contravene the banning notice if the person enters, attempts to enter or remains in a high risk area or licensed premises for one of those activities or purposes.
