#### 158 Crown not liable for any compensation 158 Crown not liable for any compensation > > (1) Damages or compensation are not payable by or on behalf of the Crown because of— > > > > > (a) the enactment or operation of this Act, or for the consequences of that enactment or operation, or > > > > > (b) a representation or conduct of any kind about any restrictions or limitations on the sale or supply of liquor on any premises or kind of premises. > > > (2) In subsection (1), the Crown means the Crown within the meaning of the [Crown Proceedings Act 1988](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1988-070), and includes any employee or agent of the Crown.
