2026 A Bill for An Act to amend the Liquid Fuel Supply Act 1984 for particular purposes

[s 1] Liquid Fuel Supply (Ethanol and Other Biofuels Mandate) Amendment Bill 2026 Page 4 Authorised by the Parliamentary Counsel The Parliament of Queensland enacts— 1 Short title This Act may be cited as the Liquid Fuel Supply (Ethanol and Other Biofuels Mandate) Amendment Act 2026. 2 Commencement This Act commences on the day that is 1 year after the date of assent. 3 Act amended This Act amends the Liquid Fuel Supply Act 1984. 4 Amendment of s 35A (Application of div 1) (1) Section 35A(2), from ‘of—’— omit, insert— of petrol fuel or diesel fuel by a fuel wholesaler to another fuel wholesaler. (2) Section 35A(3) and (5)— omit.
