#### 15 Minister may enter into arrangements to enable directions under sections 23 and 24 to be implemented (1) The Minister may, on behalf of the Commonwealth and for the purpose of ensuring the effective operation of any directions that may be, or have been, given under sections 23 and 24, enter into arrangements with: (a) a Minister of a State on behalf of that State; or (b) a person appointed as a Minister under section 41 of the Australian Capital Territory (Self‑Government) Act 1988 on behalf of the Australian Capital Territory; or (c) a person holding Ministerial office under section 36 of the Northern Territory (Self‑Government) Act 1978 on behalf of the Northern Territory; or (d) an authority established by or under a law of the Commonwealth or of a State or Territory; for the carrying out of such measures (including preliminary measures) as the Minister considers necessary to facilitate the implementation of such directions. (2) An arrangement under subsection (1) may provide for reimbursement by the Commonwealth of the cost of the carrying out of the measures to which the arrangement relates.
