#### 80B Definitions 80B Definitions > In this Part— > > information means information, including photographs, obtained from an applicant in connection with an application for a licence made by the applicant or from the holder of a licence in connection with the licence. > > information-access arrangement—see section 80C(1). > > issue, in relation to a licence, includes grant or renew. > > licence means a licence, registration, permit or other authorisation issued under an Act or other statutory instrument. > > licensing authority means a person or body authorised under an Act or statutory instrument to grant a licence. > > relevant criminal proceedings means— > > > (a) criminal proceedings under the legislation under which an application for a licence is made or a licence is issued, or > > > (b) proceedings under Part 5, Division 3 of the [Crimes Act 1900](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1900-040) in relation to a licence. > > service provider—see section 80C(1)(b). > > **s 80B:** Ins 2004 No 105, Sch 1 \[5\].
