6 Tasmanian Augmented Electoral Commission

(1)  [Section 6 Subsection (1) amended by No. 38 of 2023, s. 34, Applied:01 Jul 2024] The Tasmanian Augmented Electoral Commission consists of the members of the Redistribution Committee and 2 additional members of whom–

(a) [Section 6 Subsection (1) amended by No. 28 of 2007, s. 4, Applied:13 Sep 2007] [Section 6 Subsection (1) amended by No. 38 of 2023, s. 34, Applied:01 Jul 2024] one is the chairperson of the Electoral Commission who is to be chairperson of the Tasmanian Augmented Electoral Commission; and

(b) [Section 6 Subsection (1) amended by No. 28 of 2007, s. 4, Applied:13 Sep 2007] the other is the member of the Electoral Commission who is not the chairperson of that Commission or the Electoral Commissioner.
