12 Quota of electors

(1) [Section 12 Subsection (1) amended by No. 53 of 2004, Sched. 1, Applied:16 Feb 2005] For the purpose of each redistribution of the State, the Electoral Commissioner must determine, as at a date nominated by the Electoral Commissioner, the Council division quota in accordance with subsection (2) and publish notice of the determination in accordance with section 30 .
(2) [Section 12 Subsection (2) amended by No. 53 of 2004, Sched. 1, Applied:16 Feb 2005] The Council division quota is the average Council division enrolment as at the date nominated by the Electoral Commissioner under subsection (1) .
