Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This certificate delays the automatic repeal of the National Land Transport (Exemption from Public Tenders for State Projects) Determination 2014, keeping that exemption in force until 1 April 2027 (made under Legislation Act s51(1)(c)). It mechanically extends the period during which state projects can proceed without Commonwealth public tender processes, so state procuring authorities and potential suppliers continue to operate under the existing non‑competitive procurement arrangement; the certificate itself repeals on 2 April 2027.
