117  Decisions and instruments made before commencement

 (1) A decision or instrument (however described) that was in force under a provision of the Legal Services Directions 2017 immediately before the repeal of those directions is to be treated, on and after the commencement of these Directions, as if it were a decision or instrument made under the corresponding provision of these Directions.

 (2) Without limiting subsection (1), this section extends to the following things made, issued, given or imposed under the Legal Services Directions 2017:

 (a) an exemption;

 (b) an agreement, approval or permission, and the conditions (if any) upon it;

 (c) an instruction;

 (d) guidelines.
