4 Briefing counsel or other legal experts such as academics on constitutional, national security, Cabinet and public international law work is to be done through AGS, the Attorney‑General’s Department in respect of areas where the Department undertakes tied work and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in respect of work it undertakes on public international law.
