#### 81 Regulatory authority may inspect policies 81 Regulatory authority may inspect policies > > (1) The designated local regulatory authority may require a law practice or an Australian legal practitioner to submit a professional indemnity insurance policy to the regulatory authority for assessment as to whether the policy complies with these Rules and any relevant jurisdictional legislation. > > > (2) The law practice or Australian legal practitioner must comply with the requirement within the period stated in the requirement or, if no period is stated in the requirement, as soon as practicable after being notified of the requirement.
