#### 41 Computerised accounting systems—back-ups 41 Computerised accounting systems—back-ups > > (1) This rule applies if a law practice maintains trust records by means of a computerised accounting system. > > > (2) For the purposes of section 147 of the Uniform Law, a law practice must ensure that— > > > > > (a) a back-up copy of all records required under the Uniform Law and these Rules is made at least once each month, and > > > > > (b) each back-up copy is kept by the law practice, and > > > > > (c) a complete set of back-up copies is kept in a separate location so that any incident that may adversely affect the records would not also affect the back-up copy.
