#### 32 Directors of incorporated legal practice and pro bono services 32 Directors of incorporated legal practice and pro bono services > > (1) The directors of an incorporated legal practice do not breach their duties as directors merely because legal services are provided on a pro bono basis by an Australian legal practitioner employed by the incorporated legal practice. > > > (2) Subrule (1) is declared to be a Corporations legislation displacement provision for the purposes of section 5G of the Corporations Act. > > > > Note. > > > > Section 5G of the Corporations Act provides that, if a State or Territory law declares a provision of a State or Territory law to be a Corporations legislation displacement provision, any provision of the Corporations legislation with which the State or Territory provision would otherwise be inconsistent does not apply to the extent necessary to avoid the inconsistency.
