### 45 Establishment of consultative committees > > (1)  The Minister may establish such consultative committees as the Minister thinks fit to assist the Commission in the performance of its functions. > > > (2)  In deciding whether to establish a consultative committee in a particular locality, the Minister shall take into account any representations received from a local community organization or from persons living, or carrying on a business, profession or trade, in the locality.
