37 Conflicts of interest An independent reviewer who has a personal interest (whether pecuniary or otherwise) in a matter which could conflict with the proper performance of his or her duties in relation to the matter, must not exercise any power or carry out any function in relation to that matter at any time after becoming aware of the conflict of interest.
