55 Interests to be disclosed
(1) A commissioner who has a direct or indirect pecuniary interest in a
matter being considered or about to be considered by the commission,
otherwise than as a member of, and in common with the other
members of, an incorporated company which consists of more than
25 people and of which the commissioner is not a director, shall, as
soon as possible after the relevant facts have come to the
commissioner’s knowledge, disclose the nature of the
commissioner’s interest at a meeting of the commission.
(2) A disclosure under subsection (1) shall be recorded in the minutes of
the meeting of the commission and the commissioner shall not be
present during any deliberation of the commission with respect to that
matter.
