54 Meetings
(1) The commission shall hold such meetings as are necessary for the
exercise of its functions.
(2) The president of the commission may at any time convene a meeting
of the commission.
(3) The president of the commission, on receipt of a request in writing
signed by 3 commissioners, shall convene a meeting of the

quorum.
(5) The president of the commission shall preside at all meetings of the
commission at which the president is present.
(6) If the president of the commission is not present at a meeting of the
commission, the commissioners present shall elect 1 of their number
to preside at that meeting and the person so elected shall preside
accordingly.
(7) Questions arising at a meeting of the commission shall be determined
by a majority of the votes of the commissioners present and voting.
(8) The commissioner presiding at a meeting of the commission has a
deliberative vote and, in the event of an equality of votes, also has a
casting vote.
(9) The commission may regulate the conduct of proceedings at its
meetings as it thinks fit and shall keep minutes of those proceedings.
