88 Notice of lessor’s intentions regarding repair If leased premises are, or a building that contains the premises is, damaged in a material way, the lessor must tell the tenant in writing, within 2 months after the day, or last day, the damage happened— (a) that the lessor reasonably considers repair of the premises or building is impracticable, and intends not to repair the premises or building; or (b) that the lessor intends to repair or reinstate the premises or building between starting and finishing dates approximately stated in the notice.
