86 Dispute about payment or nonpayment of rent and outgoings (a) the lessor applies to the Magistrates Court about nonpayment under section 84 (Damaged premises unable to be used); or (b) the tenant applies to the court about payment of rent under section 85. (2) The Magistrates Court may decide the application on its merits and is not bound by section 84 or section 85.
