116 Tenant’s right to terminate extended lease
(1) If a lease is extended because of section 107, the tenant may terminate
the lease by giving the lessor at least 1 month’s written notice of
termination at any time after the day the lease would have expired if
it had not been extended.
(2) Subsection (1) does not prevent a tenant from terminating a lease by
giving less than 1 month’s written notice of termination if the lessor
agrees to accept less notice.
