8 Acquisition of prescribed lands
(1) The Treasurer may, for the purposes of this Act, on the recommendation of the committee, purchase or acquire all or any of the prescribed lands.
(2) *[Section 8 Subsection (2) amended by No. 24 of 1993, s. 3 and Sched. 1 ]*In its application for the purposes of this Act the Land Acquisition Act 1993 has effect subject to the provisions of this Act.
