76 Right of purchaser to lodge caveat (1) A purchaser under an instalment contract for the sale of registered land may, by a caveat lodged under the Land Title Act 2000, prevent the registration of any instruments affecting the land. (2) Section 142 of the Land Title Act 2000 does not apply to a caveat referred to in subsection (1). (3) The caveat lapses on completion of the instalment contract.
