221 Repeal (1) The Acts specified in Schedule 4 are repealed. (2) The repeal of the Real Property (Insurance Money Application) Act 1975 does not affect the operation of that Act in respect of a contract entered into before the commencement of this Act. Division 2 Transitional matters for Land Legislation Amendment Act 2023 222 Definition amending Act means the Land Legislation Amendment Act 2023. 223 Application of section 89A Section 89A applies in relation to a mortgaged freehold property disclaimed under section 133(1) of the Bankruptcy Act 1966 (Cth), or section 568(1) of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) whether the mortgage was made before or after the commencement of section 46 of the amending Act (the commencement) if: (a) for a disclaimer under section 133(1) of the Bankruptcy Act 1966 (Cth) – the disclaimer was made on or after the commencement; or (b) for a disclaimer under section 568(1) of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) – the disclaimer took effect on or after the commencement.
