19 Incidents of tenure on grant in fee simple (1) On the commencement of this Act, any tenure created by the Crown on granting an estate in fee simple is to be taken to be in free and common socage without any incident of tenure for the benefit of the Crown. (2) If any quit rent issues to the Crown out of land, or the residue of any quit rent issues to the Crown out of land in respect of which quit rent has been apportioned or redeemed, the land or residue is released from quit rent.
