77Integrity Commissioner may retain documents and things

#### 77 Integrity Commissioner may retain documents and things (1) If a document or thing is produced in accordance with a notice under section 75, the Integrity Commissioner: (a) may take possession of, and may make copies of, the document or thing, or take extracts from the document; and (b) may retain possession of the document or thing for such period as is necessary for the purposes of the investigation to which the document or thing relates. (2) While the Integrity Commissioner retains the document or thing, he or she must allow a person who would otherwise be entitled to inspect the document or view the thing to do so at the times that the person would ordinarily be able to do so.
