#### 195 Exercise of functions by police 195 Exercise of functions by police > > (1) A police officer may not exercise investigative, surveillance or enforcement functions under or for the purposes of Part 6 unless authorised to do so by the Commission. > > > (2) As soon as practicable after giving such an authorisation, the Commission must notify the Inspector of that fact. > > > (3) This section has effect despite any other provision of this Act, but does not apply to functions specified or described in the regulations for the purposes of this subsection.
