#### 146 Notification of proposed action on reports 146 Notification of proposed action on reports > > (1) As soon as practicable after the Commissioner of Police or Crime Commissioner receives a report under section 27, 32, 132, 134, 135 or 136 or a copy of the report is laid before a House of Parliament, the Commissioner of Police or Crime Commissioner, respectively, must notify the Commission of the nature of the action taken, or to be taken, as a result of the report. > > > (2) If the Commission has provided a copy of the report to the Commissioner of Police or Crime Commissioner and the Commission is of the opinion— > > > > > (a) that the Commissioner of Police or Crime Commissioner has unreasonably delayed notifying the Commission of the nature of the action taken, or to be taken, as a result of the report, or > > > > > (b) that the nature of the action taken, or to be taken, as a result of the report is, in the circumstances of the case, unreasonable or inadequate, or > > > > > (c) that the Commissioner of Police or Crime Commissioner has unreasonably delayed taking action as a result of the report, > > > > the Commission is to advise the Commissioner of Police or Crime Commissioner accordingly by notice in writing served on that Commissioner. > > > (3) If the Commission and the Commissioner of Police do not, within 28 days, resolve any issue the subject of a notice under subsection (2), either or both of them may notify the Minister administering the [Police Act 1990](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1990-047) that the issue is unresolved. > > > (4) If the Commission and the Crime Commissioner do not, within 28 days, resolve any issue the subject of a notice under subsection (2), either or both of them may notify the Minister administering the [Crime Commission Act 2012](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2012-066) that the issue is unresolved. > > > (5) The issue may be the subject of a Commission’s special report under section 138.
