New South Wales act
The Act vests specified Sydney parcels in the Crown and permits Crown grants to Law Courts Limited, freeing the land of prior encumbrances, validating a past pedestrian‑plaza resumption and preserving railway easements. It exempts the Company and specified transfers from stamp duty, state rates, taxes and duties; prior owners may claim compensation as if land were resumed under the Public Works Act (s3(5)) but compensation is excluded for the validated resumption (s7(3)); the Governor sets the appointed day and may prescribe grant conditions and regulations (s3(1–2), s8).
