60 Effect of ACAT decision (1) If the ACAT confirms the Executive’s decision to reject a claim for compensation, the interest stated in the claim is taken, for this Act, not to have been acquired from the claimant by compulsory process. (2) If the ACAT sets aside the Executive’s decision to reject a claim for compensation, and accepts the claim, the interest stated in the claim is taken, for this Act, to have been acquired from the claimant by compulsory process.
