51 Reference to Tribunal If the Minister has served a notice under section 50(1AA) on any person in relation to his interest in acquired land: (a) he may pay the amount of compensation which he considers appropriate for the acquisition of the interest acquired into the Tribunal; and (b) whether or not the Minister has paid an amount into the Tribunal under paragraph (a), the Minister must, at the expiration of one month from the date on which the notice under section 50(1AA) is served, refer the matter to the Tribunal to be dealt with under Division 3 of Part VIII.
