### 60ZZO Effect of refusal to grant permit > [*\[Section 60ZZO Inserted by No. 21 of 2020, s. 12, Applied:28 Oct 2020\]*](/view/html/inforce/2020-10-28/act-2020-021#GS12@EN) If the Panel refuses under [section 60ZZM(1)(b)](#GS60ZZM@Gs1@Hpb@EN) to grant a major project permit in relation to a major project, an application for a permit in relation to a use or development may not, except with the approval of the Minister, be made by any person within the 2-year period after the day on which notice of the refusal is given under [section 60ZZQ(2)](#GS60ZZQ@Gs2@EN) , if the use or development – > > > > (a) is the same as, or substantially the same as, a use or development to which the major project relates or related; and > > > > > (b) would be carried out on all or part of the area of land to which the major project relates or related.
