> > (1) The Panel must hold hearings in respect of a major project after the public exhibition of the major project under [section 60ZZB(6)](#GS60ZZB@Gs6@EN) ends.
>
> > (2) A hearing, in relation to a major project, by the Panel may relate to –
> >
> > > > (a) a representation made under [section 60ZZD(1)](#GS60ZZD@Gs1@EN) in relation to the major project; or
> > >
> > > > (b) the major project generally.
>
> > (3) Despite [subsection (1)](#GS60ZZE@Gs1@EN) , the Panel may dispense with the holding of a hearing in relation to a representation in relation to a major project if, after examining the representations received –
> >
> > > > (a) the Panel is satisfied that all the representations are in support of the major project; or
> > >
> > > > (b) the Panel has consulted with the person who made the representation and that person has advised the Panel in writing that he or she does not wish to attend a hearing.

> > (4) The Panel, before holding a hearing under this section in relation to a major project, is to notify –

> > > > (a) each person who has made a representation under [section 60ZZD(1)](#GS60ZZD@Gs1@EN) in relation to the major project; and
> > >
> > > > (b) each participating regulator in relation to the major project; and
> > >
> > > > (c) each person or body, other than the Commission, that was notified under [section 60R(1)](#GS60R@Gs1@EN) of the declaration of a major project –
