87 Registration of re-entry by lessor
(1) The registrar-general, upon proof to his or her satisfaction of re-entry
by the lessor under any power in that behalf contained in the lease or
declared by this Act to be implied, or of recovery of possession by
the lessor by any proceeding in law or of determination, cancellation
or forfeiture of a Crown lease, shall note the re-entry, recovery of
possession, determination, cancellation or forfeiture by entry in the
register, and the estate of the lessee in the land shall thereupon
determine.
(2) The determination shall not release the lessee from his or her liability
in respect of the breach of any covenant expressed or implied in the

her control shall, when required by the registrar-general, deliver it up
to the registrar-general for cancellation and the registrar-general shall
cancel it accordingly.
(4) Any person who so fails to deliver a lease up to the registrar-general
when required commits an offence.
Maximum penalty: 10 penalty units.
