43 Registrar-general to keep register
(1) The registrar-general shall keep a register relating to land.
(2) The registrar-general may—
(a) keep the register—
(i) in such form or combination of forms; and
(ii) on such medium or combination of media; and
(iii) in such manner;
as the registrar-general thinks fit; and
(b) at any time, vary the form or medium in which the register or
part of the register is kept.
(3) A reference to a medium in subsection (2) includes but is not limited
to—
(a) a computer; or
(b) microfilm; or
(c) paper.
(4) The register consists of folios of the register, instruments, plans and
registered documents.
(5) Where the registrar-general is satisfied—
(a) that the register contains an entry relating to an instrument or
document affecting land; and
(b) that the land is no longer affected by the instrument or
document;
the registrar-general may cancel the entry in the register.
