39 Transfer of records
The Governor-General may arrange with the Governor of New South
Wales for the handing over to the Commonwealth of all duplicate
grants and certificates of title, and other documents registered or
lodged with the registrar-general of that State in respect of land in the
ACT, which, at the date of the commencement of this part, is under
the Real Property Act 1900 (NSW), or for the delivery to the
Commonwealth of copies of those grants, certificates of title and
documents duly certified by the registrar-general of the State as
correct copies.
