23 Registrar-General's powers on inquiry In conducting the inquiry, the Registrar-General may: (a) act in the absence of a person who has been given reasonable notice; and (b) require a person to give evidence on oath or by statutory declaration; and (c) adjourn the inquiry; and (d) disregard a defect, error or insufficiency in a document; and (e) permit or refuse to permit a person (including a legal practitioner) to represent someone at the inquiry.
