172 Standard terms document to be provided to other parties (1) If a standard terms document forms part of an instrument, the party who applies the document to the instrument must provide all other parties to the instrument with a copy of the document before the instrument is executed. (2) A person commits an offence if the person fails to comply with subsection (1). Maximum penalty: 20 penalty units. (3) An offence against subsection (2) is an offence of strict liability. (4) Despite this section, a failure to provide all other parties with a copy of the standard terms instrument before the instrument is executed does not affect the validity or effect of the instrument.
