#### 37 Application of amendments—general 37 Application of amendments—general > > (1) The amendments made to this Act by the [State Revenue Legislation Further Amendment Act 2005](/view/html/repealed/current/act-2005-111) apply in respect of the assessment of land tax in the land tax year commencing on 1 January 2006 and any subsequent land tax year. > > > (2) Except as otherwise provided by this Part, the amendments made to this Act by the [State Revenue Legislation Further Amendment Act 2005](/view/html/repealed/current/act-2005-111) do not apply in respect of the assessment of land tax in the land tax year commencing on 1 January 2005 or any previous land tax year. > > > (3) Accordingly, the provisions of this Act, as in force immediately before the date of assent to the [State Revenue Legislation Further Amendment Act 2005](/view/html/repealed/current/act-2005-111), continue to apply in respect of the assessment of any land tax liability for the land tax year commencing on 1 January 2005 or any previous land tax year.
