#### 36 Repeal of Premium Property Tax Act 1998 36 Repeal of [Premium Property Tax Act 1998](/view/html/repealed/current/act-1998-079) > > (1) The amendments made to this Act by Schedule 3 to the [State Revenue Legislation Amendment Act 2004](/view/html/repealed/current/act-2004-033), and the repeal of the [Premium Property Tax Act 1998](/view/html/repealed/current/act-1998-079), apply in respect of a land tax year commencing on or after 1 January 2005 and do not affect any existing liability for land tax. > > > (2) This Act and the [Taxation Administration Act 1996](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1996-097), as in force immediately before those amendments were made, and the [Premium Property Tax Act 1998](/view/html/repealed/current/act-1998-079), as in force immediately before its repeal, continue to apply in respect of any such liability.
