18 Stipulations in instalment contracts avoiding trustees’ liabilities to be void
Any stipulation in an instalment contract shall be void to the extent that it would have the effect of exempting a trustee under a trust deed from, or indemnifying the trustee against, liability for breach of trust should the trustee fail properly to perform the powers, authorities, duties and functions required of the trustee as trustee having regard to the provisions of the trust deed.
