sec.55 Definitions for subdivision
In this subdivision— affected tenure see section 56 (1) . deferral period , for the payment of rent or instalments, means— generally—the period stated in a hardship deferral declaration for which the payment of the rent or instalments is deferred; or subject to paragraph (c) , if the period is extended under section 57 (2) —the extended period stated in the hardship deferral declaration; or for a particular tenure, if the period is extended under section 57 (3) —the notified extended period for the tenure under section 57 (3) or (5) . hardship deferral declaration see section 56 (2) . payment day , for deferred rent or instalments, means— generally—the day stated in a hardship deferral declaration by which the deferred rent or instalments must be paid; or subject to paragraph (c) , if a later day for payment of the deferred rent or instalments is fixed under section 58 (2) —the later day stated in the hardship deferral declaration; or for a particular tenure, if a later day is fixed under section 58 (3) —the notified payment day for the tenure under section 58 (3) or (5) .

- (a) generally—the day stated in a hardship deferral declaration by which the deferred rent or instalments must be paid; or
- (b) subject to paragraph (c) , if a later day for payment of the deferred rent or instalments is fixed under section 58 (2) —the later day stated in the hardship deferral declaration; or
- (c) for a particular tenure, if a later day is fixed under section 58 (3) —the notified payment day for the tenure under section 58 (3) or (5) .
