sec.3A Rounding of particular amounts expressed as numbers of fee units

This section applies for working out the amount of a fee or other matter expressed in section 33 , 34 or 36 as a number of fee units. For the purpose of the Acts Interpretation Act 1954 , section 48C (3) , the amount is to be rounded to the nearest dollar (rounding one-half upwards). Section 34 (1) of this regulation provides for a minimum rent of 277 fee units. If the value of a fee unit for this regulation were $1.015, the number of dollars obtained by multiplying $1.015 by 277 would be $281.155.
