sec.21 Obligation of party who calls expert

A party who calls an expert to give evidence in a proceeding must, before the expert gives evidence, give the expert— a copy of these rules and any directions made by the court about the giving of expert evidence; and any other information or material necessary to enable the expert to comply with rule 20 . Also, the party must not— instruct or advise the expert to give any particular evidence or opinion about the evidence; and do anything that prevents, or is likely to prevent, the expert from complying with rule 20 .
