#### 45 Deemed acceptance of offer of compensation 45 Deemed acceptance of offer of compensation > > (1) If a person entitled to compensation under this Part does not, within 90 days after receiving a compensation notice— > > > > > (a) accept the amount of compensation offered by the authority of the State, or > > > > > (b) lodge with the Land and Environment Court an objection to the amount of compensation offered, > > > > the offer of compensation is taken to have been accepted. > > > (2) Such an acceptance is subject to any decision of the Land and Environment Court on an objection lodged after the 90-day period. > > > (3) The authority of the State must, on such an acceptance taking effect, pay the amount of money concerned into a trust account kept under this Part and pay the money to the person entitled to it on receipt of a claim for compensation, deed of release and indemnity (duly completed) and any relevant documents of title.
