sec.22 Acting land access ombudsman
The Minister may appoint a person to act as the land access ombudsman during— any vacancy, or all vacancies, in the office; or any period, or all periods, when the land access ombudsman is absent from duty, or can not, for another reason, perform the duties of the office. However, the person can not be appointed for more than 6 months in any 12 month period. The acting land access ombudsman is appointed under this Act and not the Public Sector Act 2022 . s 22 amd 2022 No. 34 s 365 sch 3 (sec.22-ssec.1) The Minister may appoint a person to act as the land access ombudsman during— any vacancy, or all vacancies, in the office; or any period, or all periods, when the land access ombudsman is absent from duty, or can not, for another reason, perform the duties of the office. (sec.22-ssec.2) However, the person can not be appointed for more than 6 months in any 12 month period. (sec.22-ssec.3) The acting land access ombudsman is appointed under this Act and not the Public Sector Act 2022 .
