sec.21 Preservation of rights
This section applies if an officer of the public service is appointed as the land access ombudsman. The person keeps all rights accrued or accruing to the person as an officer of the public service as if service as the land access ombudsman were a continuation of service as a public service officer. At the end of the person’s term of office or resignation as the land access ombudsman the person’s service as the land access ombudsman is taken to be service of a like nature in the public service for deciding the person’s rights as an officer of the public service. (sec.21-ssec.1) This section applies if an officer of the public service is appointed as the land access ombudsman. (sec.21-ssec.2) The person keeps all rights accrued or accruing to the person as an officer of the public service as if service as the land access ombudsman were a continuation of service as a public service officer. (sec.21-ssec.3) At the end of the person’s term of office or resignation as the land access ombudsman the person’s service as the land access ombudsman is taken to be service of a like nature in the public service for deciding the person’s rights as an officer of the public service.
