110 Disposal of things seized (1) An inspector may dispose of a thing seized under section 99 or section 106 if— (a) an inspector has taken reasonable steps under section 109 to return the thing to the person from whom it was seized; and (b) the inspector has been unable to locate the person, despite making reasonable efforts, or the person has refused to take possession of the thing. (2) The inspector may dispose of the thing in any way that the inspector considers appropriate.
