sec.17 Term
A licence is granted for the term of up to 1 year stated in the licence. A licence comes into force on the day stated in the licence. A licence stops being in force if— it is surrendered or cancelled; or subject to section 18 (3) , it expires without being renewed. (sec.17-ssec.1) A licence is granted for the term of up to 1 year stated in the licence. (sec.17-ssec.2) A licence comes into force on the day stated in the licence. (sec.17-ssec.3) A licence stops being in force if— it is surrendered or cancelled; or subject to section 18 (3) , it expires without being renewed.
- (a) it is surrendered or cancelled; or
- (b) subject to section 18 (3) , it expires without being renewed.
