Part 6 Detention, return, forfeiture and disposal of kava or thing seized Kava Management Act 1998 26 (3) Where a person who receives a notice under subsection (1) makes a claim for the delivery of the kava or thing seized, the Director must deliver the kava or thing into the custody or possession of the Local Court to be dealt with by the court under section 130B of the Local Court (Criminal Procedure) Act 1928 as if it were property the subject of an application by a claimant of property under that section.
